This year’s multidisciplinary program showcases the latest advances in the etiology, biology, prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer, as well as the state-of-the-art concepts and technologies shaping cancer research today.

Karolina Palucka, MD, PhD, and Carlos M. Caldas, MD, PhD, preview the extensive slate of educational sessions planned for the first two days of the Annual Meeting. “In designing the program, we strived for diversity and inclusion in all aspects of cancer research,” Palucka said.

The Annual Meeting opens with 16 methods workshops on Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15. Access to the methods workshops and educational sessions is available to all registrants by purchasing the Educational Program Pass during registration.

The AACR is honoring a distinguished slate of cancer researchers, physician-scientists, advocates, and journalists for their accomplishments during the Annual Meeting.

The AACR Academy’s 2023 class of Fellows will be honored during the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, April 16. The work of the 23 new Fellows has had a significant impact on cancer research.

Rodney and Erika McLeod will serve as philanthropic ambassadors for the annual 5K run/walk, which raises funds to support the AACR, its 54,000 members, and the millions affected by cancer worldwide. There’s still time to register for the Saturday morning event.
